Work Experience
Inria - Sophia Antipolis (France)
In June 2011 I joined INRIA and I relocated to France to work on another surgical simulation project for cardiac electrophysiology procedures in the Asclepios team.
My main activity is to develop software components based on the open-source software platform SOFA related to simulation of deformable structures, endovascular navigation, haptics rendering, 3D rendering and graphical user interface.

Dies Group srl - Rome (Italy)
In April 2006 I had the great opportunity to join a small R&D team working on real-time surgical simulation projects.
The team main project was a simulator for catheters based endovascular procedures like angioplasty and stenting. My research focused on deformable body dynamics, multi-body dynamics and haptics devices interaction with the purpose of making the simulation fast and stable. The simulator was used to train hundreds of surgeons across the italian territory and presented at some of the most important conference in the field.
G.D Spa - Bologna (Italy)
In September 2004 I started a software engineer career in one of the biggest company in Bologna (Italy) specialized in cigarette making and packing lines.
I worked on a simulation software for modeling items flow in the conveyor lines. This software is used to manage the queue process between the automatic machines plants.

Interests
I play fingerpicking guitar and I like regularly busking in old town streets. I participated at some art festivals to meet real busker musicians. This is me playing in Ferrara (Italy).
